No Classified Data: In accordance with our security policy you may not transmit classified information using ProjNet. Both ProjNet staff and Agency security officers may be monitoring site activity to attempt to identify any classified information. Violators are subject to suspension of privilege to use ProjNet.

No Password Sharing: Sharing passwords is a high-priority security violation. The following penalties will be levied if passwords are shared:

  • First violation: Email from the employees supervisor to their entire staff saying that password sharing is a violation of government regulations. Failure to obtain the email within 8 hours of the violation will result in suspension of privilege for the user until such time as the email is produced.
  • Second violation:Immediate suspension of user privilege. Reconsideration of privaledge following receipt of letterhead memo from second-tier supervisor to office regarding password security.
  • Third violation: Immediate suspension of user privilege. Reconsideration of privilege following receipt of letterhead memo from supervisor to employee documenting the results of formal counseling session. A copy of this letter must be placed in the employees personnel file.
  • Fourth violation: Permanent disbarment without reconsideration.

Classification Guidelines: Please refer to your specific agency security officer for a copy of the security classification guidelines appropriate for your project.

Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU): This site is accredited to support information up to, and including, Sensitive But Unclassified.

Sharing Page Links: The ONLY link you may use to access projnet is the link to the projnet homepage https://www.projnet.org or https://www.projnet.net. Copying links to internal pages or files is prohibited. Since a login is required to access any internal page such links will fail. Links to other pages provided by ProjNet applications, without specific approval to do so by your agency sponsors, is also prohibited since such information may be intercepted by those who may wish to harm federal facilities or facility occupants.
